AFF and This World's Ours present the "Home for the Holidays" Fundraiser

Join Autism Family Friends (AFF) and This World’s Ours Centre for Home for the Holidays — a family-friendly community open house and fundraiser created with autistic and neurodivergent families in mind.

Spend the afternoon connecting with other families, enjoying inclusive activities, discovering local vendors and community partners, and supporting a cause that helps create meaningful opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent children, youth and their families.

Sensory-Friendly Holiday Photos

Capture a special holiday memory in a calm, low-pressure setting designed with autistic and neurodivergent children in mind.

Our photo session will feature a simple holiday backdrop without Santa, loud music, flashing lights or an overwhelming setup. Families can take their time and participate at their own pace.

📸 Photos are by donation, with one photo session per family. Your donation helps support AFF programs and initiatives while giving your family a special holiday memory to take home.

Supporting AFF

Funds raised through Home for the Holidays will help AFF continue building and expanding programs for autistic and neurodivergent children, youth and their families, including:

  • Level Up Youth Social Club — social connection, gaming, board games and Dungeons & Dragons for neurodivergent youth.

  • Inclusive & Adaptive Recreation — expanding opportunities to participate in sports and recreational activities.

  • Family & Sensory-Friendly Events — creating welcoming experiences where families can participate and connect.

  • Parent Support & Community Connection — coffee meetups, peer support, family gatherings and opportunities to connect with other parents.

  • Sibling Programs — developing spaces and activities for siblings of autistic children.

  • Workshops & Family Resources — practical education, resources and connections to community professionals.

  • Advocacy — amplifying family voices and advocating for better access to funding, education, recreation and disability supports.

Every ticket, donation, raffle entry and silent auction bid helps us keep programs accessible and affordable and continue creating opportunities for families in our community.

Come celebrate with us, support local businesses, meet other families and experience a holiday gathering where acceptance meets community.
