Sibling Support & Connection Series
In partnership with Autism Family Friends (AFF) & Marpole Oakridge Family Place
The Sibling Support & Connection Series is a monthly program designed to create meaningful, low-pressure opportunities for siblings of children on the autism spectrum to connect with their caregivers.
These sessions focus on strengthening family relationships, improving communication, and providing siblings with dedicated time where they feel seen, valued, and supported.
While much attention is often placed on supporting children with diverse needs, siblings frequently navigate complex emotions, responsibilities, and identity experiences that can go unaddressed. This program creates intentional space for connection, recognition, and shared positive experiences within the family system.
This series is delivered by Autism Family Friends (AFF), in partnership with Marpole Oakridge Family Place, whose shared commitment is to create inclusive, accessible spaces where every child and caregiver feels supported and included.
